A Gym in Puerto Pollensa

Hi all,
I am going to Puerto Pollensa in 3 weeks time, and was wondering if there is a gym there that I can use? Does anyone know?

Bonyslad was talking about the public swimming pool at the back of the town.

There are various facilities in there and someone who lives there can probably tell if a gym is included.It is on Vicente Buades and beside the Police and Health Centre.

Again if it's mussels you are after plenty on offer all over town.

Couldn't resist that one!!

Re Gym:

Alan,

Don't think there is a gym near the pool but as they have squah courts it might be worth a try.However I seem to remember walking past a gym in town. If I can recall it's in one of the side roads off the Formentor Rd. Turn up by Tribeca near where the old post office used to be. If not there try the two adjacent roads either side.

Don't overdo it in the heat though. I know a couple who play squash for an hour every afternoon in that heat !!!

No accounting for taste.

Only gym in the centre of Pto Pollensa is in the street called Juan de la Cosa, that's parallel to the main Juan XXIII street and two blocks nearer the sea. From the sea front tyrn up El Cano street (by the side of Bona Cepa restaurant and it's the second street on the left. Not open at weekends.
The other gym in the area is in the Duva apartment complex by the Rosa Blanca roundabout- Open to anyone.
A serious weightlifter friend of mine says neither gym meets his needs exactly, but they have a selection of the usual bikes, rowing machines, etc etc
