The last of my Mallorcan wine went tonight with our Sunday roast. :rolleyes
I opened it a good 2 hours before we ate dinner and the first taste was very good - nice and fruity with lots of vanilla.
According to the website, the Aia is made from Merlot which is probably why I liked it so much. At 14% it's no lightweight and it went very well with our roast beef tonight.
It was slightly tannic (dry) but with lots of fruit and easy to drink. The sort of wine to go with food, especially meat dishes.
