Air Con

Marc me me, you should have no trouble getting work in PP, this summer you could not get someone to put in A/C for love or money.
If you advertise in the Daily Bulletin newspaper, I should think you will get plenty of work.
We have just got a man to do ours, and it has taken bribery and coruption I can tell you. He is a little Mallorcan man, and as he can't speak English. I am hoping all goes well and on time, if I could have found an English speaking fitter I would have prefered it, but beggers cant be choosers.
So what are you waiting for, summers are getting hotter and hotter, by this time next year you could be a millionaire.:rollin

THANK YOU BLONDIE

Blondie, Thank you for taking time to reply, very very encouraging - i am sorting accomadation and flights and will be "giving it a go", nothing ventured as they say.
Thank you again and if all goes well we may be in touch if ever your A/C needs servicing please look me up!
Thank you again, appreciated........

Re: Air Con

hi blondie,
i had air con fitted this summer by a fab english guy who did a great job at a very good price. we bought our machine from carafor (think i spelt it right).
this summer has been so hot it was absolutely necessary!!!
as you said in your posting this is definately the place to be an air con engineer;) ;)

Re: Air Con

Hi There,

Just wondered how much you paid for your aircon to be fitted, I was thinking of doing the same, i.e. buying myself and getting an engineer in to fit as I assumed that would be cheaper.

Regards,

Aircon

Santjordi, in answer to your question of cost, I think it depends what you are looking for, we had a full aircon fitted, coming in under the floor and into the walls, with separate units in every room, ours also does the heating for winter so it cost quite a bit at £4000 pounds, it took them three days to do.
Julesy 43 may have had just one unit that is fitted on the surface then it would be considerably cheaper, you can also get free standing ones, but I am told they are rubbish.
Hope this is helpful :D
