All about dogs??

Anyone have experience in bringing their dog to the Island? My husband has a servicedog, (as he has MS), and we are allowed to bring it in the cabin when flying. But how is dogs in general accepted? Are there any place they can run off leash? Are they allowed to go on the beaches?
What are the rules in general, is it enough with the EU dog passport?

Sorry have not brought dog myself but there have been posts about this.

There are lots of dogs in PP. Some with good owners. Some with poor!!

The loca Town Hall have tried to attract dog owners by providing free poo bags and a designated "dog friendly" beach at Llenaire at the south end of the promenade.

I am sure others will post more info.
