Ancient posts

What is the policy on some of the very old posts, do they ever get edited out or do they stay in for ever? There must be reviews of places that no longer exist and information on prices etc which are completley out of date. Maybe there should be an archive section, or sections for different years and keep things pretty much up to date ???? Sometimes one doesn't notice the year and things get a bit confusing. What do you say webpersons???

am afraid that the forum is hosted by ezboard so we have no control over the facilities. When the board was hacked & a lot of 'old' posts were lost, people were very upset to lose the reviews so we would prefer to keep them.

I think the issue may be that the restored posts are not sorted correctly so the dates may be confusing. But I'm afraid this is an ezboard problem & we can't change them.

Re the sort order of old posts one of the ezboard moderators has been looking at resolving this & I think looking at the forums now that they are in the correct order so that you can choose not to read old posts if you don't want to.
