I've got a couple of new dining chairs to bring out in 3 weeks. New in the box. All cleared with Easyjet (for info you're allowed a max dimension of 275cm height+width+depth and they weigh 16kg so I'll book as a suitcase ), They cost £430.
Over the years I've brought loads of things over in suitcases and I even brought a full new dining set (with only 4 chairs, should've bought 6!) in my camper last autumn and was welcomed by the guard at Alcudia docks with a wave because they dont check customs at Alcudia for the Sete ferry.
I guess I'll just have to walk the red lane and pay tax. It's not like I can squeeze them in a bicycle bag...
Any experiences of the red lane?
