Apartment in Vista Boquer

Has anyone stayed at Vista Boquer recently??

We are going in a couple of weeks and just wondered what to expect.

We just got back on friday after our second visit. Lovely apartments, nice pool although its quite small. The times i have been most of the apartments are used by young families. The apartments at the front have a lovely view of the mountains and with local school, pool etc opposite it is in a very pleasant area. The walk down to the pinewalk is a matter of minutes and the square about 5. If you would like to know anymore just pm and i will gladly answer them for you.

Hi, I am also interested in these apartments as we have just booked for next year. We have a disabled family member and they sound to be just what we are looking for. What is the surrounding area and beach like? Any info appreciated.

These apartments are ideal, providing you get the accessible ones. we have been two years running. everything is near to hand and the accessible apartments have everything needed for a disabled person. Feel free to pm me for any queries.

Thanks Stocktonmackem. Is there any shade around the pool at all, it doesnt seem so from the photos. Also is the pool hoist in place as we will need to use this?

Hi familygal, The pool is not very shaded once the sun gets round, however if you go down before about 10 the sun hasnt hit all of the pool and after about 4.30 you can find a bit of shade. we bought a cheap umbrella from the shops to get my husband some shade. The pool hoist is in place at all times you just move it around to where you need it. I wouldnt worry about anything in the apartment because we have not had any problems. Which apartment are you staying in. I hope you havent pinched my two weeks next year.

Hi, we have booked apartment 3A from 30th July to 13th August. Happy to share but it might be a bit crowded!!! lol

Think buying an umbrella is a must as dad is a bit paranoid about being out in the sun too long.

That is usually the time that i go but my daughter is getting married at the end of August so i will have to go later next year. We usually stay in 2b. 3a has a roof top terrace i think, but not accessible for wheelchair users. Maybe see you the year after, but dont pinched my apartment.lol. I havent tried the municipal pool, i only use a pool to cool off and then get back in the sun.
