Apartment penthouse Miramar!
We have just returned from staying here for the final week of the season.
The location was just perfect, situated 3 doors from sinbad /4 from la cabana and across te road from the beach, only 4 minute walk to cafe 1919 and the h arbour restaurants.
The apartment was 2 bedrooms/2bathrooms with open plan lounge/kitchen. Very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. My only worry was the balcony. Although a very good size and partially shaded, the railings were to low for my liking, especially with 2 young inquizative children (6/4) and being on the 5th floor. I felt to much time was spent telling them to keep away rather than enjoying the balcony. Perhaps a larger clear glass barrier would have been better.
The apartment was the top one of 5, with a lift. Noise was a bit of a problem. You could hear the lift bang when other residents used it, also lower apartments doors banging, dogs barking etc made it touch annoying but you got used to it.
One little (or a few) problems was on the 5th day in the hall as you walked in there where 4 of 5 dead cockroaches that were not there the previous day, and there was one if the lower apartments having some work done to it during the day so was noisy but we were out so didn't bother us. Not sure where the roaches came from but alarmed us a little!
Overall the apartments were a perfect base, with stunning views from pine walk all the way to alcudia , just the balcony's fencing was to low for concern!
