Bars, restaurants in Gommar Area

Are there many bars, restaurants in Gommar Area. How far is it to walk to town centre of peurto pollensa for more choice.

Its about a ten minute walk from the Pollensa Park into the port, I dont really rate the places in that area that highly myself, but its not far too some decent places.

Locally there are The Hideaway who have a good guitarist on Wed I think called John Lynam, The Aries Bar at one side of the Supermarket is "cosy", The White Rose ( Rosa Blanca ) on the other has food and entertainment as well as a pool!!
Over the main road there are the Habitat and Duva complexes, although I have not sampled them, I have heard them when I have been strolling home!!

If you head for the beach via the Polensa Park 10 to 15 mins (which has all manner of entertainment) there is the Golden Lion (entertainment including) "Have fun with Sergio" excellent for a laugh) Panorama Hotel(entertainment) Palms (entertainment/Footy) Bon Dia café (internet/footy) before you hit the beach.

Once on the front there are Tamarells Beach Bar, El Ancla (excellent), Romantic Hotel, Tolos and all manner of different restaurants as you hit the Port. Pub Imperial, another 10 to 15 mins if you dont stop, is great for a laugh, with frequent entertainment (vocalists, Elvis, and not to forget Toni!!!!) (although some dont appreciate this type of bar!! it takes all sorts!!)

Then you have the Pine Walk and the Square!!

If we are not heading for somewhere particular we walk onto the front via Pinaret or the Pollensa Park and then into town, about 25/30 mins. If we know where we are heading in town or further beyond (eg Trio) we walk down the main road to Eroski and onwards (abot 15/20 mins, 30 mins to Trio)

Gotmar is not too far out, and you always have the taxi option if you want.
