Beach Beds

I know this may be a little early yet but does anyone know when the beach beds are likely to be available this year.We are out the end of April ( last year I dont think they were availbale until some time in May).Thanks

Hi Cath, they seem to be very efficient this year. Most of the beach has been cleaned , a lot of umbrellas are already up and i have even seen a few beds stacked up by the wall.
I wonder how much they will be charging this year, have not seen any signs yet .

With the r/e this year probably cheaper to rent one of the fancy boats down at the quay!

I think it goes up about a euro a year to hire two beds and a shade it was €11 last year so hopefully will only go up to €12 this year

Thanks everyone...we are at "La Gola" end of the beach and I know it may vary when they are put out ..i am keeping fingers crossed for weather and beach beds.
€12 will not be too bad....(well at least it will be cheaper than the chiropractor fees I would need to pay if I had to resort to laying on the sand )

I know 1 euro doesn't seem a great increase but remember, last year it was about 1.25 to the pound. The increase is actually from about £8.80 to £12 this is a whopping 50% increase!!.

I think a lot of people will be looking a buying a cheap set of sun beds while they are away or using the hotel/apartment ones which are usually free.

Some beds are set out on the beach and they were collecting money,but sorry I have not seen prices as yet.

The prices are now displayed for the beds and umbrellas. 2 beds with umbrella remains at E11, 1 bed and shade E7.50, pedalo's E12 per hour. Hope this helps with your budgeting.

Has anyone ever heard of being able to hire them for a week or even a fortnight at a reduced rate.
11 Euros is a sizeable wad especially if you are on the the beach every day....and yes I'm Scottish.

Sorry but no, years ago you could hire for half a day but now it just a daily charge.
