It wasn't 1st April, but we saw in a different social media base that Mallorcan authorities are considering charging people for access to the beaches.
1. How would the tickets be issued and checked?
2. Do they intend to set up turnstiles?
3. With 85% of the employed population directly or indirectly relying on tourism, if a true story, have they lost their marbles?
The restaurants, bars and shops would see a drop in footfall so that authorities might increase their revenue.
