Waves

...if the wind is up you'll get some nice waves on the Can Cullerassa side of the bay of Pollenca!!!

Re: Waves

Hi Griffo

We sometimes take our children to the beach at Cala Millor - right at the bottom end. They love the waves. The sand is really white and the sea is a fabulous colour. The waves are superb.

It takes an hour to get there though so it may be further away than you wanted.

Re: Waves

Cala Mesquida often has big waves and has a beautiful backdrop of sand dunes. If you get bored with just sitting on the beach there is a very pleasant walk through the trees to the next bay - Cala Aguila.

To get to Cala Mesquida take the Arta road through Alcudia and follow signs to Cala Rajada. At Capdepera there is a roundabout and Cala Mesquida is signposted to the left at the roundabout.

The drive out is very pleasant once past Can Picafort and there is the opportunity to stop at Arta for refreshments on the way.

Mariquita is right...Cala Mesquida (and nearby Cala Agulla) has some beautiful water and well worth the trip!!!

Cala San Vicente has great waves sometimes as does Can Picafort or Son Serra de Marina.

Cala Agulla is our favourite..lot of Germans...very few Brits there...best on Sundays when the pine trees are full of picnicking Mallorcan families!

Try the beach at Sa Coma, you can get good bodyboarding conditions there.
