I just looked at the webcam and it does look a bit sad now with no one on the beach and all the beds away.

I don't know if I would like to visit when it's all closing down. But perhaps it would make would make you seek out some of the bars further behind the sea front?

Well you never know, although it has been blowing a gale most of the day it is still very warm. Actually 24c as i type and it's nearly 8pm .

Yep just six left, no beds though, which is a shame as its a stunning morning again by the looks of it!!

oh yes all gone now, that's the end of the summer then, although someone should tell everyone who has been in swimming that, still looks a whole lot better than dreary UK!

Yep, saw the tractor taking the last of the poles away early this afternoon. Having to move around people sunbathing!! Such a gorgeous day!

They seem to be going overboard with the wind breaks this year, I know they are there for a reason but they look a bit of an eyesore, what do they look like actually there!!?

To be honest SWS i would rather look at loads of windbreaks than see half the beach up on the road which happens if we get really bad storms in winter.
Of course there is probably also an economic factor in that it costs money every time they have to come out to put the sand back .
