Work has started cleaning the beaches ready for the summer season :D.

Let's hope the beds and brollies will be in place for when the tourists arrive.

There is hope then that they will be ready at La Gola end of the beach for us at the end of April :)

The umbrella poles are being put up this morning opposite Can Josep, so they´re working their way down the beach !

Arrived home last night after 4 lovely sunny days, all brollies/beds up near Hostal Bahia and we didn't get charged either!! :)

Good to see the umbrella poles going up on the beach further along at the Tamarells beach bar:) Pity about the spots of rain on the See Mallorca webcam though:(

We're getting there.......umbrella poles now have their 'hats' on......summer is a coming:):) On See Mallorca webcam today

More 'hats' going on today on the main beach!! :) :)

Isn't it just typical, for the first time in years the beach is ready for the official start of the season and the flippin weather goes pear shaped .

Something to shelter under during a light spring shower perhaps? Don't knock the fact that they are up already though, the weather will soon change! :)

I wasn't knocking anything , still at least they got some use earlier this month :).

It was a general turn of phrase Sparky, not a personal accusation! They will be up for use for the full season now - come rain or shine! :D

The beach looks a mess after all the rain. Just driven up from Alcudia and there are loads of upturned beds, some that have been blown around the beach and others that are half submerged in the sand that has been churned up by the high tide
