I think they all have to be off by the end of the week according to the costas rules.

Sad

I just looked at the webcam and it does look a bit sad now with no one on the beach and all the beds away.

I don't know if I would like to visit when it's all closing down. But perhaps it would make would make you seek out some of the bars further behind the sea front?

Cheers

Shades are being taken down as we speak, the restaurant is all closed up for the winter now as well :(

I see on the SeeMallorca webcam that there are still a few brollies on the beach:) Is someone hoping for another spell of hot weather and this is 'just in case';)

Well you never know, although it has been blowing a gale most of the day it is still very warm. Actually 24c as i type and it's nearly 8pm :).

Lucky you:) Very frosty here this morning and turned to rain this afternoon. Probably about 4c here if we're lucky. Hasn't stopped the fireworks going off though:(

Yep just six left, no beds though, which is a shame as its a stunning morning again by the looks of it!! :)

all gone now , beach totally cleared , i wish i was there rite now instead of cold wet scotland

oh yes all gone now, that's the end of the summer then, although someone should tell everyone who has been in swimming that, still looks a whole lot better than dreary UK!

The weather doesn't think summer is over.......have been breaking into a sweat sat on my balcony in an amazing 28c  :D.

There are a couple of people in deckchairs making the most of the sun:D Lucky ******'s;)

Now thats just not fair, they must know we can see them :mad::mad:

The beach looks stunning! Webcam pic at 15.30, not a cloud in the sky, hardly any cars or people! Bliss

Yep, saw the tractor taking the last of the poles away early this afternoon. Having to move around people sunbathing!! Such a gorgeous day!

..and it looks like they got them up just in time!!!!

They seem to be going overboard with the wind breaks this year, I know they are there for a reason but they look a bit of an eyesore, what do they look like actually there!!?

To be honest SWS i would rather look at loads of windbreaks than see half the beach up on the road which happens if we get really bad storms in winter.
Of course there is probably also an economic factor in that it costs money every time they have to come out to put the sand back :).
