I am very sad to inform you all that Euro Mart will be closing down next week.

John and Hayley have decided to return to the UK because they were not happy with their boys education here and feel they will get on much better in the UK.

They will be sorely missed by the residents and tourists alike but i am sure you will all wish them well for their future, i certainly do.

Goodbye John and Hayley, take care.

Sorry to hear the news, but totally understand your reasons for leaving the Port. Best wishes and good luck to you all, you will be missed a great deal.

I, too, wish them all the best. Over the years we've had both good service and friendly, helpful advice.

Will be sorry to see you go John and Hayley.

All the best for the future :)

Good luck for the future..

Where will we get our hot Cornish pasties now!! :(

Take care

Shame and good luck to them.
No one's mentioned it but is anyone taking it over do we know?

At the moment nobody taking it on. The stock is almost cleared. Like many others I wish them well for the future.

Shame to see another business close, albeit this one apparently through personal rather than financial reasons, but I feel a "British" shop is a difficult business in which to prosper these days as so many of the supermarkets now sell British items.

To me it was like a village shop (you may need to live in a village to get this) You can buy most of the items you need from the large chains but it's good to support a small business. When I'm here for a few weeks I need mint sauce, taramasalata, samosas, Cornish pasties ....and haven't seen those in Eroski

debz1, that's one freaky lunch :-0

Have seen lots of British foods in the Spar type grocers in the road up to the Pollensa Park I have been quite amazed at how many sometimes !

Not sure if they open in the winter though ?

You can get British/European foods in all the bigger supermarkets as well but they are nearly always dearer than Euromart were, i doubt the Spar near the Fergus (Pollensa Park) would be open in winter.

But I'd imagine Al Fresco will be closed for the season very soon?

Hi Guys, I would like to thank you all for the support you have given us and all the great messages you have posted x Yes Louise will be selling bread and a few more lines I have put her on to,. she is open in the winter on some days as she has contracts for outside catering jobs , as well she is there every day feeding the cats so you will always see her.

Yes Nick you are right the Spas do sell Britsh goods , but not the range we had or the price we had ! and yes after 21 years in Spain ( We are not the give it try and if does not work out we are off people ) we are going home for our kids education and not becouse we have failed as you would like to think , if you would have come in the shop you would have seen ,we were a busy little shop !!

I never said you failed and I've used your shop many times.
I simply said other shops now sell British goods and assumed it must have been difficult for you.
I also "liked" the post in support of you being in PP and supplying a service.
I assume you've misunderstood me?
Wishing you and your family good times back in the UK.
