Budget family room needed for one night

Hello. We are a family 2 adults and 2 young children, arriving at Palma airport about 9pm on a Friday in May and picking up a hire car. However our villa (nr Alcudia) is available on the Saturday so we need a hotel for one night, just to crash in late. Can anyone recommend anywhere clean and basic, that is easy to find (driving) and has a late check-in? It could be near the airport or we are happy to drive up to Pollenca or Alcudia. Any recommendations?

You could try the Flora aparthotel in Puerto Pollensa. They charge 55 euros per night in May. This is for a one bed apartment that sleeps 4. They do late check ins but I do not know if they will take a one night booking or if they do might charge a slight premium. Worth a try though. They do not open until 1st April but if you email them on flora@flora-pollensa.com they should come back to you within a couple of days. I have stayed there many times - very clean and very nice staff. Hope this helps.

Have you tried Alpha rooms? If you go to their website and type in the date it will come up with a variety of places to stay and at very good rates too.

Accommodation for one night

You might also be lucky with a small apartment in the Marina apartments which is along the front in Puerto Pollensa.
They do rooms for just one night and free parking can be found nearby in the port. The one bedroom apartment we were shown, also had two sofa beds in it so it might just fit the bill for you.

I've just tried both AlphaRooms & Sunshine (both recommended booking agents) for one night in July & it's astonishing how many hotels do have rooms available for one night. Take your pick & see Late Deals to Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca), Majorca (Mallorca)
