I just would like to say that Pauline and I will not be opening La Fortalesa as we decided to retire and take life easy, So what we would like to say is Thank you thank you very much to all our friends and customers who have been supporting us through the years, we had a wonderful time.

Yes - I remember a few years ago when I had been in hospital in Alcudia for a week and it was the first time out and you made me a plain chicken breast with just some rice as I was still 'delicate'! Really sorry to be losing you but enjoy your retirement.

Thank you Pauline and Martin, for the very enjoyable meals we have had in La Fortaleza over the years.

I recall on my first visit saying to Pauline "You must be Pauline" and the reply was "Yes , I suppose I must"!

We enjoyed two nights with you last October and Martin finally "got " me with a real hot one in a Pimientos Padron.

Every good wish for a long, healthy and happy retirement .
