Cabot Las Velas Apartments

Could anyone clarify if the Cabot las Velas apartments are going to open this year. My son and family are booked in 6 th 13 Aug via travel republic but recent emails confirming balance payment date does not mention anything. Seen a post on a facebook site saying its not going to open this year. Any help much appreciated.

The Cabot site is still taking bookings for Las Velas on those dates, with a 2 bedroom apartment currently being available, clearly this suggests they will be open.

However, I got the following message on a pop-up on their site.

We are ready for season 2020!
We are already open in:
Cabot Siller Apartment
Cabot Villa Sa Sini
Cabot Villa Can Borràs
Cabot Hobby Club
Opening soon...
Cabot Pollensa Park will open on July 15th
Cabot Romantic will open on July 25th
We are waiting for you

Thanks Magic Hat. Tried the test booking myself and it brought up availability but of course did not proceed to payment etc so you are never fully sure. Think the pop up is real killer. If it was going to open you would think they would want to advertise it.

Thanks for all our help. Son finally got through and they are closed for this year. They now have the option of Pollensa Park or Hobby Club.

That's a shame and pretty poor from Travel Republic.

So poor that they don’t let you know. Let’s hope one of the other options is suitable for your son.

If they want a large all inclusive then I suggest Pollensa Park but if they prefer a small, 54 apartments self catering, across the road from the best beach then I would suggest Hobby Club.
