Only know he has been selling melon, pineapple and coconuts for as long as I can remember - over 10 years?
His cry of miloney, miloney, miloney etc etc still rings in my ears! Grande vitamina rolls nicely off the tongue!

There were a couple of fruit sellers on the beach at Tamarells last year, but I don't know if they are related!
There is definately something to be said for a half of juicy pineapple or water melon as refreshment in the middle of a hard day's sunbathing.

can anyone tell me whether the hotel mayol has reopened yet. we were in csv last year and it had closed due to a family dispute
It is in such a prime postion so it would be a shame if it remained closed.

Hi bee66, no Mayol still closed. Really sad as we spent some great family holidays years ago when the kids were small. The old lady would be so upset to see it becoming so run down. She used to go around the place with a brush and a pot of white paint touching up the walls every day

thanks for your reply. I agree it is a real shame. We spent several hours sitting in the bar/.cafe area with coffee and brandy watching thunder storms over the Molins beach. We were told by a local the when the grandma died the sons who had been running it thought it would be passed to them but she left it to a grandson!!He obviously wasn't interested in the hotel life
