On the eve of my departure to Palma for a week's intensive Spanish, I've packed and am now relaxing with a large glass of Chilean Vina Maipo Sauvignon Blanc from the Maipo Valley, bought at a knockdown price from Sainsburys this afternoon (I got half a case).
Cheap as chips and quite tasty.
I wrote an advertorial about another wine producer from the region, Vina Ventisquero, which I think was destined to appear in June's Decanter magazine, but I haven't seen the mag yet. Anyone a subscriber?
