Medical Treatment

Should imagine policy you have been sold by First Choice
would cover any eventuality. Suggest you check conditions, if you haven't already done so, normally you get cover for at least a Million Pounds.
Your friends are probably refering to the E111 form you get from the Post Office. As far as i know you can use them to get medical treatment in Puerto Pollensa(Where do these Reps get there information from?) However as you have already have your own insurance there should be no need for E111.
Perhaps others can confirm this.

A little advice if i may, the tour companies tend to be rather expensive for holiday insurance, no matter what they say you do not have to use them, it is normaly much cheaper if you shop around a bit!

I think the E111 entitles you, as an EU resident, to free treatment in EU hospitals without the inconvenience of having to pay for treatment first then reclaiming from travel insurance. We always take our E111s with us to Europe, just in case, not that we've ever needed to use it. It's free and you're better safe than sorry. There's full instructions in the wee booklet provided @ the Post Office. You just need to get it stamped before you go.

Wishing you a safe holiday !:rollin
