Hi all, back to Puerto Pollensa in September fir our 2nd visit of year, we go to big Eroski for big shop and asked for them to get us a taxi as we normally do for return to our apartment, they wouldn’t do it so we walked with an awful lot of shopping!! Please could someone tell me easiest way to get taxi? Many thanks, Janey xx

Hi Janey, I think you can do an online order in Hiper if that is an option for you. It seems to be quite straightforward, though I have never used it myself as we are right in the centre, so we just tend to buy what we need each day.

Thank you so much for reply but I’m not very good at online shopping and I did look at it but they want a postcode!! Do they even have post codes in Majorca? X

Probably add one of the local taxis to your mobile phone and give them a call once you're done shopping.

There was a previous discussion about taxis and one forum member mentioned, that a driver had told him, that (some) drivers are not keen on supermarket pickups.
Perhaps that's why Eroski didn't want to call a taxi for you?

Good morning,
My wife has just mentioned that she’s heard local taxis are not available to hire now, just taxis from the airport. Can anyone clarify if this is the case or can you still get a taxi say from PP to say Alcudia Hidroparc ?

Taxi Pollensa also have an app you can install on your phone (Mallorcab) which is also mentioned in the thread above. I'm surprised, that some of the supermarkets don't have an in-store home delivery service, that doesn't involve on-line ordering.
Mercadona in Alcudia seems to be offering it, though that's only from what I could gather on-line.
