OK! OK! I've read all the Top Tens, but here's a poser for you....

Going to Pollensa (town not port) on November 12th, but only for 5 nights.

We don't drive at all, but willing to get taxis for short distances.

We like the sort of food you get at Ca'n Costa, and hubby is a vegetarian willing to eat lots of tapas if necessary.

Suggestions for the four other nights.....?

We dont mind pushing the boat out a bit as will be celebrating 20 years living in sin!!!!www.ezboard.com/intl/aeng...s/wink.gif

Thanks for the entertaining board!

Hello nettyporthole (love the name) and welcome to the forum!

Pollensa Town is my favourite place and I am sure you will enjoy your meal at Ca'n Costa.

Other places I would personally recommend wouuld be Cantonet, Clivia and Trencadora, although I haven't been to Trencadora since it changed hands and reviews have been a bit hit and miss.

I would also try La Fonda and L'Auborada. La Fonda is on a street just to the left of the main square (as you face the church) and L'Auborada is on the square itself, at the top next to the Cafe Espanyol.

You could also get a taxi to Balaixa which is not far away and wonderful as well.

Have a great time,
Jane

However do phone any of these places first as it is quite common for restaurants to close end October. You may need some guidance from residents as to what is still open.

Thanks for that!

I'll let you know how I got on when I get back.

I've only been to Pollensa once before for three days and was really astounded at the number of restaurants there compared with our usual haunt Soller.
