Free holiday at the sis pins

Article in the Scottish Daily Mail about the Sis Pins 50th anniversary launch.A group of Glaswegian cycling enthusiasts who booked one of the first package holidays at the Sis Pins in 1961 are hoping to welcome back the same guests for a free holiday.As part of the 50th anniversary of the launch of its package holidays the Sis Pins Hotel is trying totrack down some of the first guests to take up the offer.Records of their addresses have been lost but the hotel still has their names and two pictures which refer to Scottish guests from Glasgow enjoying the sunshine.Now bosses at the hotel have offered anyone who can prove they are in the photos a free one week holiday to join the celebrations.
One of the co owners Geoff Hopkins said guest lists from 1961 indicated nine people from the Glasgow areahad flown in from Manchester Airport who apparantly were cycling enthusiasts.
The paper has two grainy photographs of some people relaxing on the terrace outside the Sis Pins.
