Gambi Apartments

Apologies if this is a bit of a strange query. I'm considering renting the Gambi apartments at La gola however I am wondering whether due to their location there might be more insects than usual. Also, I have a vague memory of there being a bit of a smell from that area from walking by previously. Hs anyone stayed there who could give me some advice? Thankd

Hi Keira, just got back from Es Pinaret,which is just the other side of La Gola, I can report there is no smell and we didn't see one mosquito the whole time, but this would depend on the time of year of your visit and the weather conditions of course.
We have watched these apartments being built and the are fantastic looking with a great view over the reserve to the mountains, and literally 10 minutes into the port.

Spent a bit of time (on most days of my hol's) at the La Gola wildlife reserve area this year and definitely no 'smells' at that time (May/June).
I would also add that both the new apartments you mention and the upgrading of La Gola itself are welcome additions to PP over recent times.

Yes the Gola reserve is really establishing itself now & hopefully it will stay as a reserve , I have contributed in the past but last year the young lady in the part time info centre said she was unable to accept donations?
