Help is needed now by the Church for the people

I am here in the Port today I went to see the Priest Danilo at the church in the square TODAY. They need help because more and more people are becoming impoverished by this situation .The food bank they have is depleted because more and more people are in need . IF YOU CAN TAKE BASIC FOODS TO THE CHURCH IN THE SQUARE OR SOME MONEY SO THEY CAN HELP PEOPLE PAY THE BASIC BILLS , OR THE CHURCH CAN PURCHASE FOOD FOR THE FOOD BANK THEY HAVE .PLEASE TAKE IT ALONG TO DANILO ,THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE BACK TO THE PEOPLE WHO NEED IT MOST IN OUR BEAUTIFUL PUERTO AND POLLENCA . EVERY LITTLE HELPS LETS EVERYBODY WHO IS HERE IN THE PORT AND IN THE TOWN AND ON THIS GROUP OR NOT IN THIS GROUP MAKE A DIFFERENCE A REAL DIFFERENCE.PLEASE SHARE THIS AND TELL AS MANY PEOPLE WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER NOW AND SUPPORT THE GROWING NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO ARE IN DIFFICULTY AND ALSO CONFINED AS WE ALL ARE THANK YOU PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN for those who are not here in the port but would like to send money to help message me for my whatsapp and i will tell you how you can help the people here who help you make so many memories for us all. Totally agree with you, but we are not allowed out unless for shopping and meds so how can we take stuff to the church?.

The police were on Roger de Flor yesterday stopping all cars and people on foot if they did not have shopping or were taking rubbish to the bins.

You are allowed to go to the Church because you are helping those who are in desperate need . If the police do stop you tell them that you are taking donations to the church . If any body has a problem with that I will personally collect and take to the church I was there this morning Talking to Danilo about this as this is classed as helping those in need and vaunrable it is an essential journey

As I am sure you are aware the Church has a pantry / food bank they run all year for the people who need . but this current situation has left many families in the Port and Town in a very desperate situation and have had to turn to the Church for help. This has placed a huge strain on the resources they had and now need as much help as they can get , I just feel its an opportunity for everybody to give something back to the people who hold this place together 356 days of the year. they are not only confined but also have a very uncertain present and future . We all need to come together NOW

I just wanted to give you update and say thank you to those who have already helped . I spent some time today with Danilo the Priest here in the Port
he told me the money already given was much appreciated and helped purchase gas and other essentially .for the ever increasing families here finding themselves impoverished.
As many of you are aware most people here are seasonal workers and providing they worked the statutory amount of time in the summer they then get unemployment money to see them through the winter added to what they saved working in the summer. This is not a great deal of money but it sees them through. And Most should have started work some weeks ago but of course cannot so now are reliant on the small amount of money they are receiving from the government here.
They now have the added worry of not knowing if or when they will return to work and they are hoping the Government here relaxes the rule regarding the time needed to work to claim and be eligible money next winter .
If you are here in the Port and would like to help they need urgently personal hygiene products tooth past shaving foam shampoo etc etc also cleaning products . next time you are in liddle or Eroski or when shopping. put a couple of extra items like this in your trolly and take them to the church in the square or message me i will come for them. If you are not here and can and would like to send donations they are much appreciated
