Help please to check the balance on a Vodafone Spain data Sim

Help please

I have a vodafone ES data sim and cant activate a data bundle and get an error text when I try.

error message translates to "At present, we can not honor your request for technical reasons. Please try again later or contact Customer Service at 123."

There might not be enough credit on the sim and I cant remember the number to send a text to on PAYG sim to then receive a text back that shows the balance.
I cant make a phone call with the sim as I dont have an unlocked phone.

Using the Sim in an unlocked Huawei MI-FI latest model.

So if anyone knows the number to send a text to check the balance please let me know,

Mark i'm not sure if this will help but checked with son who is on Vodaphone. *#1345# followed by send or 2345 for voice

I have found it with those numbers and some trial and error

the * and # dont appear work from the control panel of a dongle / mi-fi device.

to help anyone else, with a dongle etc the text to send is just 134 then 'send' from the dongle SMS control panel and a text arrives back with the balance which in my case was 16.36 euro.

I was trying to activate a 19 euro 1gb data 'bono' on a sim card from ebay that had 20 euro balance on it when bought.

the problem was that while I was faffing around trying to active the internet 'bono' my antivirus program had downloaded an update and used some of the 20 euro balance hence only 16.36 euro available which is why I could not spend 19 euro as not enough balance on the card.

I activated a 500mb 3 day bundle for 9 euro and that will do until I top up and then activate a 1gb monthly allowance for 19 euro.

All good fun this dongle/sim/mifi stuff

Thanks but I cant get that to work from this PAYG sim just says 'message failed' , maybe it is different numbers depending on the sim type etc,

134 is working and I now have €5.29 available so will add another €15 at a shop then activate a €19 bundle in a few days.

I have now found the € key on my laptop
