Hotel Daina building work

I am staying in the playa mar for the 3rd time in june and some of my family will be staying in the hotel Daina in July on thier 1st visit to pp. We have heard reports of building work going on outside. Can anyone update us? Have rcomended PP and don`t want there hols to be a let down.

I walked passed it one day last week and i'm afraid there was work going on, which surprised me because i was told all building work should stop on May1st.

I was staying in the Daina apartments and there was building work going on next door at the old Tango's site. It was noisy but didn't spoil my holiday (although ear plugs helped!). I would imagine there will be noise for anyone staying in a room at the back of the Daina. But then again, that is a noisy road at the best of times. The builders generally started work at about 7:30am, so be prepared if you're not an early riser!

I am just back and the work on the old Tango site appears to be finished for the season. Nothing was happening at all and it is netted off.
