Hotel Simar

Hi - every year I have stayed at the Hotel Simar - a great hotel. I understood, however that it was closed this year. However, I saw a Trip Advisor review posted recely and was suprprised.. Is the hotel closed or is it being used as an overflow for the Don Pedro? Also which are the quiter rooms / good views at Don Pedor? Thanks
