My neighbour works at Hotel Illa d'Or and has been told that they are partially reopening on 11th and fully from 17th.

The Costas authority has objected to the bar on terrace which will not be erected at present.

What are the aims of the Costas Authority. I remember a few years ago when Costas followed their due process - the outcome of which meant that the enjoyable & historic ice cream cabin near marina roundabout was removed :-(

I think that was a licence issue with the town hall, not Costas.

Well even though there is no bar allowed next to the sea now at Illa d'Or - the tables and chairs are all out and they've added a lovely bar at the entrance to the hotel.

I noticed lots of activity on the Miramar webcam today. Looks like the sun terrace is getting a wee birthday! I think they planned a 1st April opening.
