Il Giardino Pollensa

Hi, does anyone know if Il Giardino in Pollensa has changed hands? I noticed earlier in the year that the Pattisier of theirs was closed...

It appears Giordano in Pollenca is under new management, it has new staff and a new menu - none of which - in my humble opinion - live up to the excellent food and service of previous years, we have tried it several times now, bearing in mind it is early in the season, and new staff etc. etc. but the food has been very poor on each occasion, the menu is limited and the new staff disinterested. It has been a firm favourite with our family for more years than I care to remember and it is hugely disappointing to see the standard appear to drop, I hope I am going to be corrected during the coming months and will be interested to hear others opinions.

That's a real shame. It's a beautiful setting on a summer's evening and we've had some lovely occasions there. I guess "change is here to stay"
