We are thinking of these for next year (june). Does anybody have any experience of them?

do you mean the Illa d'Or, which are owned by the Illa d'Or hotel? If so, I haven't stayed in them but have seen them - they have been very nicely refurbished. I think they can use the facilities of the hotel - which has a beautiful setting (though the rooms are in serious need of updating compared to the apartments).

Hiya Steve,

Take a look at this link, may help!:)http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com...ensa-cala-san-vicente/4162-club-illa-dor.html

If it is just for two then they should be fine but as we are a family we have rented a larger one in Bellresguard (that I mentioned on the above thread)
3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms/balcony & beautiful roof terrace in May £700 per wk as opposed to £888 per wk for a 1 bedroom in Illa d'or apts!!

Steve. I can totally agree with Favie. We have just had the best holiday of our lives in Appt Lavinia on the Bellresguard estate. Which is situated very close to the Illador.. It was so good that within half an hour of coming home I had called the owner and re booked for next year. You will find a few threads on the estate on here.. Definately worth a look. :)

Bet you are counting the days already WS :)

Steve, should mention the Illa d'or Hotel can be used by non-residents for night time entertainment/evening drink in their lounge and outside area also outside restaurant.....all are very nice. Only thing non-residents can't use is their pool but beautuful pools at Bellresguard!! :)

Favie i wouldn't be as sad as to count the days although hazarding a rough guess its about 327 to go :)

I second that about the pools, and the ornamental lilly ponds are lovely.. Oh you have made me even more excited now :)

Thanks each - some food for thought.
