A word of warning, bus fares have increased dramatically. I can't find the prices on the TIB website but for example it is now more than 4€ (one way) from the Port to Pollensa.

There's some more info in this thread, isn't there?

Cash on board payment is to be avoided, both costly (€4.50 one way) and timely.
Contactless debit/credit card €2.70 (one way) from the Port to Pollenca, with group discounts available.

Is anyone aware of the updated Taxi Standard fares? ;)
The current ones here, Taxis, are from 2016, as are the bus fares and timetables.

I don't think the taxi fares have changed much, if at all, so a taxi to Pollensa from the port (or back) should be about 12€

The bus faresv and timetables can be found on the TIB website.

These fares won't bother UK visitors. We are used to excessive costs on the buses - unless you can take advantage of the huge subsidies that apply in London.

As an aside, I'm disappointed that the drivers are getting stick for the increased fares. We have always found them extremely pleasant and helpful. Gentlemen, all. (my hand is up in case there are female drivers - its just that I have never seen one.)
