Hi there,

We are a family of 6 with 3 little ones -4, 2,1 & Granny, who are hoping to visit Puerto Pollensa this summer. I know that this apartment is above Sinbads restaurant. Is this a very noisy area & does this restaurant stay open very late? Just concerned about getting kids to sleep if v noisy.
Also is the public pool close & how much does it cost or are there other options for a pool nearby?
Thank you in advance for your help

Hi mum03...we normally stay almost next door...there are restaurants either side and of course behind (los zarzales) but it is not very noisy.the restaurants are open until about 11-12pm but I suppose it depends on what times your little ones go to bed..bedrooms in the back would be a little quieter but the back rooms can get very warm as they get the sun from mid afternoon until it sets..it is not that far to the public pool but to be honest for the price of a few icecreams or drinks you can use the facilities in somewhere like Villa Concha - very near in Pinaret area..and of course you have the beach straight across the road.

Havn't stayed there so can't comment specifically but with 3 little ones you may want to have a look at an apartment in a block with a pool and with some garden space , rather than above a restaurant on the main road

There are lots that advertise on this site ............ I know that Las Mimosas are really nice apartments and they are in a similar area and certainly some of them have 3 bedrooms which I am assuming you will need

There are many others but this block comes to mind as it is close to the one you are looking at, it has a pool and I know they are nice and will give you the best of both worlds ........... very close to the hustle and bustle but nice and quiet should the children need an early night or even an afternoon siesta

And going for an apartment in a block with a pool negates the need to go liooking for the public pool

Thanks guys for your replys - when I went to book apartment it was gone!!! My head is melted trying to look for something else now!! Are travelling on Sat 22nd May - 3 days time!!! Want something with Sea views & close to centre & a pool would be a bonus- that doesnt cost the earth!!
Any ideas would be really welcome!
Thanks in advance
