Has anyone used Inter rent for car hire recently? If so what are your thoughts on them? Thanks

The problem is that, although they are cheap, there are few big hire companies with a good reputation.

Some of the smaller companies rely on a more personal approach and therefore get a better review ..... But you pay for it!!

Agree El Gordo. We normally use Hertz but they are becoming really expensive especially as we normally take their extra insurance as well. Have got absolutely no issues with them whatsoever......except price

I have just ended a 12 month battle with Inter rent. I booked a car with them direct (not through an agent) yet when I went to pick up the vehicle they demanded an extra £40. After over an hour of argueing I got the car but when I got home found the extra had been stopped on my card. I reported them to Visa and the money was refunded but I then started getting increasingly threatening emails and letters from them demanding various sums up to £90. They have since dropped there claim but no sign of any apology in fact they made it sound as if they were doing me a favor!

We always use Hiper Car Hire >>> Transfer from the airport to the depot by nice mini bus.
