Just back from a 9 day trip, in which we ate out on every evening except one.
Some great meals and only one forgettable one, but we did make a return to Hotel Capri on our last night, sitting right on the edge of the water. This really must be one of the best spots to eat a meal on a sultry evening as ANYWHERE in the world! But what about the dining experience?
They don't take bookings after 7.30pm, so chances are, you can wander up around 8.30-9pm and easily get a table. I ordered the Calamari, (which is a big fave) and felt that not only was the portion the largest experienced anywhere, but also it was really fresh and tasty. The Italian Burger was good to follow. My wife had the bruchetta which was very good and generous, followed by the sea bass fillets which were top drawer. Lovely service too!
They haven't had the best reviews over the years, but for us, its one of the best!
