As per the norm over the last couple of years my trip was Sunday to Wednesday. This short trip suits me.

Sunday, straight to Bar bon dia to catch the second half of the Celtic game. Andy was rushed off his feet as Palms were closed so he was the only show in town for football and F1. As per usual he coped fantastically well until Siobhan came is as reinforcement. Left there and went to La Cantina via Sea bar and Llaut. I'm not convinced with Sea Bar tbh. Yeah the setting is fantastic but the food isn't all that, nor is the service and it isn't light on the pocket. In regards to Llaut I am totally biased as I love everything about it. I can even overlook their patatas bravas being large chips somotherd with ketchup and mayonnaise. La Cantina was the perfect place to catch the last of the sun and the four tapas dishes we had were magnificent.

Monday was breakfast at the Miramar for 15E which is the bargain of the century followed by a stroll to Illa D'Or to see some people. Couple of beers there (not cheap) but lovely. Walked back to La Bodeguita then back to get shifted for dinner at La Llonja. LL is one of my favourites and didn't disappoint. Menu de samana consisted of homemade lasagne followed by meat skewers and the usual options of bread/postre/coffe/liquor etc at 37E which I'm ok with.

Tuesday was tennis in the morning followed by La bod then an afternoon listening to tunes on the terrace with beers (apologies Debz if the playtrack was too loud). Tried to go to Na Ruixa for dinner but it was shut so back to LL. Rinse and repeat. Wonderful.

Hasta dos semanas mi amigos.

Missed you by one night, Sunday at La Llonga excellent.

The only thing I don't like about La Cantina is the fact that they have taken Frito de Cordero off the tapas menu :(

How nice to see trip reports……thank you. I must admit to having overlooked La Llonga for years, but a visit in July certainly confirmed all that you say. Hope you can return very soon.

Great trip report Hoopy. Like you La Llonja is one of our top picks. We haven’t arrived in PP yet as we had to postpone a week as Malc and I have Covid. Starting our drive out on Sunday, arriving 18th. I’m sure I would have enjoyed your playlist. Can’t have been noisier than us practicing our Rock Choir songs 😅
Probably see you in Llaut in a couple of weeks!

Get over Covid well, have a safe drive all the way to PP and enjoy your stay.
Still time to make your own playlist ;)

Sounds like a decent pub crawl that..😁any recommendations for best cocktail bars ?

Isn't this a trip report from 2022?

Anyway, in answer to Gooner J....now that Bar 360 in the Yacht Club went down the pan, I can only say that despite Bony's losing their long time leader, their cocktails are still exceptionally good. (and very big) Possibly not the most upmarket environment, but very popular.
