Would be great if opened this season was one of our favourite places for dinner know the food wasn't on a par with some of the other restaurants but we loved the setting

I've not heard anything about the bar but there a huge reforms going on in the apartments above. Lets hope they clean the bottom up a little too.

Katys is definitely not going to open again as a bar/restaurant it's being converted into apartments, and I think it is now owned by some religious order. I believe they got it in a will

The apartments are owned by the nephew who got them in the will,and I understood the bar was given to the council, but could easily be a religious order.
