The direction of the wind yesterday bought the kite surfers and windsurfers onto the south sandy beach from their usual Barcares spot. They were flying and giving people something to watch on a dismal day.
Unfortunately during the afternoon there was something different to watch as one of the windsurfers was injured on the rocks and a helicopter air- sea rescue had to be carried out .
