Just a few lines to praise the wonderful 'menu del dia' in La Vall restaurant. For 10 euros you get a three course meal, including wine, water, gaseosa and olives.
The service is really friendly too!
Yesterday, two of us had Russian salad as starters, another friend had anchovy salad & the 4th person had pasta bolognese. All the starters were brilliant & very generous portion size but the highlight was the suckling pig for main course. We'd wrongly assumed it would be a token serving but it was a decent chunk of delicious succulent suckling pig with crispy skin. No fat at all maybe due to the meat being rotisserised possibly.
Desserts were panna cotta for two, water melon & one had coffee.
Brilliant value & great service!

I love La Vall. Ihave only visited once but I agree that it was lovely and the service was really good. Can’t wait to go and visit again

Been several times in the past and always found it excellent for service and food quality.
Not to mention the Tapas, oh, I just did. :)

We love it too but unfortunately when we were there in June it was only open for lunch

Yes they decided not to open in the evenings at the beginning of this year, just doing breakfast and lunchtimes. Closed on Sundays.

It is on the corner two roads up from the market square and opposite the new bus bays.

Yeah I'm gonna add my admiration for La Vall here. Went a couple of weeks ago for lunch and it was fantastic value and fantastic food.

Hope it has enough customers to open in the evenings next year

We saw it and thought about trying it but dont have lunch ( well only snack and wine on the balcony ) so would be good if it did open in the evenings or we will have to wait for a rainy day (Noooo) !!
