Hi has anybody stayed in the ground floor apartment which is just past the ill dor, just trying to find some reviews please, thank you.

Coming next month, yahoo!!

We are there next month with all the family, family has booked the lordjimeden apartments, never stayed that far up, can't see them on the map, where are they and has anyone stayed there before.
Son in laws 40th whilst we are there any recommendations for eating out with little ones as well. Look forward to some replies, thank you

I haven't stayed at this apartment, but I have stayed in an apartment on the same road. Bridie, if you click on "private villas/apts to rent" at the right of this website, and type in Lordjimeden in the place for the name of the apartment, it will come up with a map showing exactly where it is.

I don't think the Lord Jim apartments have a swimming pool, but you're just round the corner from Laguna restaurant, which has a lovely pool that anyone can use for the price of a drink. Again, if you click on "eating out" you'll get more info on Laguna.

Just so you are aware, workmen are building a lift at Lord Jim Appartments. When we left mid June they had'nt completed the outer lift shaft. It was quite noisy.Hope this info is helpful.

We stayed in the apartment next door to that one back in 2010 - Laguna is a great option for the pool and lunch. The little beach at the end of the street was great in the early evening for our two youngest (3 and 4 at the time), nice and shallow and while a little more "stoney", still loads of sand to play on. The walk along the Pine Walk from the town at night is really lovely too. (Took about 25 mins, going slowly with double Pram) We have also stayed in the Playa Mar - it is just around the corner from the Lord Jim block and has entertainment at night - if you fancy dropping in. Having said that, I did read it had gone all inclusive, so that may no longer be an option without the wrist band!
The apartment was a good size for us and our four children, looking at the pictures, they are all the same layout. The garden was nice to sit in and relax. One thing we did notice and it was possibly due to the very hot weather (we were there in August) was a lot of cockroaches scuttling about at night in the car park area behind the apartment block.
We kept a spray in the house and sprayed around the open vents on the outside wall, just to be sure! Didn't see any in the garden the two weeks we stayed, so please don't be put off !
