ME! I wish I was in PP this month. Mind you, I'm like that every month! We're going in early July this year instead of mid-August. I don't suppose there's much difference in going in July instead of August, is there? Maybe a bit less busy? But I love it busy anyway.

One BIG difference is if you are lucky enough to be there on the weekend after 14th July ( usually but could be before ) you will get to see the fireworks

My wife and I, and our two sons and their "better halves", will be in PP as usual in June, we've been coming two or three times a year since the early 90s and love the place.

Normally, Jane and I would be in PP in March or April, but, given the exchange rate, I don't want to gamble on the weather so I'm really, really sorry, but we're off to Lanzarote next week.

Somehow, the changes in PP, the proliferation of TEXY MEXY type establishments, new road systems etc have taken some of the charm away from the place for me so, in the absence of guaranteed sunshine, I'm going to kill off my out of season visits.

I think that the new changes in PP can only enhance the charm and beauty of this lovely resort, the new traffic free seafront and road systems will be a big plus in my opinion.

Hope you enjoy " Lanzagrotty ". oops sorry, but i heard its going to rain next week. Ha ha.

My wife, daughters and I will be in PP for a fortnight in mid July and we cannot wait to be there.

Sorry to disappoint "Binny", but the Lanzarote weather was truly stunning- not a raindrop in sight.

Never been before to that island, but very impressed with how friendly all the locals were, even in shops. I think there's a lesson there for PP, where retail staff can be truly offhand, I find.

The other thing I found in Lanzarote was restaurants serving much more local, traditional Spanish food, making me think that in PP there may be a tendancy to cater for "the Brits" and not featuring as much traditional cuisine as might be possible. Sure, there are local specialities, but nothing like as much as I saw in Lanzarote.

In an attempt to improve both my spoken Spanish, and appreciation of all things foodie and cultural, I'm planning a driving holiday in Northern Spain for September, which I think will be very interesting.

Before then, however, the whole family (Me, my wife, two sons and spouses) will be over for our usual two weeks in PP in June.....Can't wait!

me too, but did get a snooze in the sun this lunchtime in sunny Worthing, AND, more importantly, have a week booked for the end of May after deciding last year that we would try somewhere different after 7 years

going for a villa this time, rather than Club Pollentia, so looking forward to a few beers out & about, & not having to get up early for breakfast

oh, and surely May can't be as wet as last year, can it???
