Maricel Apartments

Has anyone ever stayed at the Maricel Apartments situated on the formentor road just behind the Hotel Miramar I cant find any reviews on the usual websites ie trip advisor etc. Thinking of booking but would appreciate if anyone had any info on what the apartments are like.

I have not stayed there myself, but friends of ours did some years ago and we visited there. At the time they were being offered by Travel Club of Upminster. They were very nice apartments then with a reasonable sized pool at the back. Don't think they had washing machine at the time. Nice and quiet in a central area. If Travel Club still have them they should be good as they tend to offer good quality accommodation.

Hi there, I can confirm that Travel club of Upminster do still have exclusive use of the Maricel one and two bedroom apartments. They have air conditioning, maid service 6x weekly and are very comfortable and have lovely pool and gardens behind. Two bedroom get very booked up so you will need to book soon for July or August summer 2009. Two types - pool view or hotel/road view. What there anything in particular you wanted to know?

I contacted Travel Club of Upminster recently to enquire about these apartments. Although helpful, I was told that prices and availability for Summer 2009 wouldn't be known until November 2008.

Worth a try and very nice Bresoll Apts back of school green building also run T C Of Upminster.

The prices are not available for 2009 yet but bookings are already being taken so that people are not disappointed. Couple of difficulties in availability for the 2 bed Maricel apts now in summer school holiday. Bressol are very spacious 2 bed apts and well priced.
