Would appreciate some reviews/opinions of the above, the location certainly looks spectacular. Thinking of taking a taxi one night from PP, (not sure I'd fancy driving round those hairpin bends after a couple of bottles of Albarino!) Is it worth making the effort?

Also considering Restaurant Miramar, which I think is in the Port area of Alcudia.

Have been to La Terraza at Alcanada a few times, but not recently, and would like to try a couple of different places.

Coming out to PP mid-July for a couple of weeks, and when visiting this time of year, we try to dine outside, hence favourite restaurants in the Port are Stay, La Lonja, La Terrace at the Ila' Dor, Corb Mari and on a colder/wetter night El Posito,

As I said, any comments greatly appreciated.

Mirador is indeed a spectacular view & an evening visit can indeed rekindle a loving relationship with Er indoors, but the nutritional side is pretty good as well the roasted Guinea fowl being the special.
From an athletic point of view there are some spectacular walks/runs out of the back of the car park which are well marked.
On your way to Victoria where the road splits is a fantastic restaurant called Bodega Del Sol run by a small family, best fish on the island cooked by mum.

Mirador...

Hiya,

If u go for this option - make sure u arrive PRE- sunset ! So that u can enjoy the vista and then the spectacular sunset followed by the amazing post sunset sky ! all hard to do if ur at the table glued to the Menu !.... so pre-dinner drinks on the terrace just to take it all in !
We have never been been disappointed foodwise - and always somewhere we reserved for a special evening out !

Whatever u do - hope its good :-)

Miriam

We went here for the first time the other Saturday and were not disappointed. Fabulous views at sunset and the food is good - my Lomo con Col was excellent and hubby's steak was gi-normous as was his 'starter' of mussels:eek: If I can work out how to do it I will post a sunset photo on here - its on Dropbox so I am not sure if I can export it to the forum:confused:

Update

I've now put on my Flickr site but the site seems to have changed and I cannot work out how to send it to Pp forum. Can anybody help please?

I suggest that you make a reservation and ask for a table on the front line, then you will get an unrestricted view.

Food has improved dramatically over the last couple of years.

Personally I wouldn't waste my time with La Terreza, it is over priced and over rated
