While I think i can safely say we all care for their wellbeing and would be happy to provide assistance if requested, we also respect their privacy. I presume they would like their health matters to remain private and there is no public interest in disclosing this information so you could be liable for legal action under invasion of privacy

So are you suggesting or implying that newer members should not concern themselves or voice an opinion about their well-being ? As up until now the only reaction I have seen from older members is either a total disregard about their situation or proposing a boycott against those who were willing, or possibly brave enough to share any information they might have about them, Julian Sims being one of them and now me, after I had recently been informed about their whereabouts and current health situation.

Not something that I had expected from this supposedly “friendly” and “inclusive” members forum.

If the administrator/owner feels the need to ban me as well, please go ahead and do so. I’m sure a “well known” long time member would be delighted if she did.

I’m very sorry Bobley but I could not disagree more.
I think you are forgetting that this is Spain and not the U.K. or U.S.A.
Family and friends matter here and are generally well cared for.
Go to any public and private hospital and there is always and unending flow of family members and friends going to see their loved ones. The thought of legal action to them is risible, and dare I say, insulting.
I say this after having lived on and off in Mallorca since the very early 70’s.

Why are you doing this? You’re must be very bored or just trying to stir up trouble. One thing you’re certainly not is caring! You talk about friends and family visiting loved ones in hospital … you are neither of these!
Sparky made it perfectly clear to me that she didn’t want her personal life discussed on the forum.

Please just stop.
