Naciente has closed permanently, this posted on FB.

Dear customers, Today ends a cycle that began in 1984, after almost 40 years the Naciente restaurant has closed its doors. We sincerely hope that each of the good moments lived here are remembered for a long time. Gracias por todo.

What a shame. In its heyday it was buzzy and busy and the garden was a lovely place to eat. The food and drink were reasonably priced. It was our choice for the first evening of the holiday for years. The last few years, however, we gave it a miss because of the lack of atmosphere due to the small number of diners.

I agree 30 odd years ago it was a regular haunt for us when the children were young. It’s never really moved with the times though.. I’m sure they were still the original tables and chairs! We’ve often walked past in recent years and looked in at the garden and though how it was looking really tired and shabby l

Wonder if it will open as another restaurant or if they will build apartments on it
