I own an apartment in a residential block in centre of the Port, which is not for holiday rentals but for family use. The community get on well with each other - a mixture of Spanish, German and UK. We have never had any problems until recently.
I have a small storage box on the balcony which I use for all the odds and ends that one accumulates. The box is 95cms high by 150cms wide. And to give a bit of context the balcony is 30 square metres. An unknown neighbour has complained to the managing agents for the community and today I received an official notice telling me to remove it in 8 days or legal proceedings will be taken, as it is against the law to have storage boxes on balconies.
I know that there are some bizarre laws/rules around but I cannot imagine this is the case. Before I go any further, has anyone heard of this happening before or that there is such a law?
Thanks
