Hi Tone,
we have made a few changes recently, mainly to stop spammers, to here's an explanation for everyone.
Every member belongs to a Usergroup. Members also have User Titles which is one you see below someone's User Name e.g. newbie, **, etc.
When you first sign up & are waiting to confirm your email address, you are in the Usergroup 'Users Awaiting Email Confirmation'. You cannot yet post & your Username appears in the Who's Online in green.
Once you have confirmed your email address, you move to usergroup 'Registered Users' and your first 2 posts are moderated - this is very effective at weeding out spammers - your user name appears in purple and your user title is 'Under Moderation'.
Once you have posted 2 approved posts you are promoted to 'Approved Registered Users', your user name is in blue and your user title depends on the number of posts you have made:
Newbie 2-9 posts
** 10-24
*** 25-49
**** 50-99
***** 100+
Moderators usernames are displayed in Bold.
If you abuse the rules of the forum constantly, you will be Banned and your name appears in the online list in Red However even if a Banned user is online, they cannot view the forum.
