Just wondering if the sign is still outside Nicos that says something like "If you want freshly prepared Mexican food come in, if you prefer frozen,pre-cooked, try other Tex Mex,s. The owner of the Tex Mex was standing reading this Grrrowling. There is obviously no love lost between the two of them. Nicos for me! GPM

We saw a sign outside saying something along lines when we were there mid May.
It's not normally the type of food I would go for but we decided to try Nico's one evening and it was very nice and pleasant atmosphere - would definately go back if I fancied a Veggie Burger.

Yep, we've always likes Nico's for a bit of a blowout - not everyone's cup of tea admittedly, but 100 times better than 'the others' . Very nice ribs I seem to remember....:)

Only ever use Nico's in the winter when there are fewer places open and therefore choices of restauarants are more limited. Not really my sort of place although hubby and the kids love the quesadillas! Having said that they do a mean chilli con carne that was very tasty and spicy on a cold winters night in PP!

I agree definitely far superior to some of the ...mentioning no names but we all know...poorer imitators

We went to Nicos for the first time in mid May, as the heavens opened as we were wondering where to eat so we dashed in for cover. I was glad we went as we had lovely nachos to share followed by a steak for OH and a taco for me. I will definately return in September and am genuinely puzzled as to why we never went before with our boys when we have eaten at some other TexMex's in PP due to teenage pester power:) Never noticed a sign up though and the place was busy compared to many other eateries.

Went to Nicos when he opened his first place, then second and now the one in the square. Have been going ever since. It's the only genuine Tex Mex in Pollenca, the others are just Burgerkings by another name(in my opinion)

We love nicos and it has nothing to do with the very good looking and charming To Cruise look a like who makes us and our children feel so special;)
Dont think we will make it this yaer am am missing the prospect of warm brownies with vanilla ice cream
